Great Riding Weather!

Hey cycling fans and those of you that enjoy some time in the saddle! It is that time of year again: Great Riding Weather Time! And the rides this week have been well attended and full of antics. If you haven't been able to hit the road much, that's okay, we're going back out tomorrow morning! Come on somebody!

Fish and Wildlife is the launch pad for the ride in the morning and it starts at 7am. We had planned to do the Around The Sound Loop but with the road closed, we thought to change it to the Lillian Loop. Either way, come on out and we'll let those who ride decide. (just made that up). Hey, we also have the Full Moon Ride out at the beach this Sunday at 6pm! What a great weekend for getting in some miles with the cast of unusual characters!

The following week we'll have the TERAD, WFW Hammerfest and the All The Way Around The Bay Loop. (75 to 80 miles) in preparation for the classic Fenner Century upcoming in just a few short weeks. Also, don't forget Roger's Ride a week from this Sunday in Gulf Breeze. Last year we finished Roger Grooters final 300 miles of his across the country ride in his stead as he was tragically killed by a motorist driving while talking a cell phone. Roger's widow, Vicki has organized this year's ride to start and end at their home. The route is to be determined. Refreshments and fellowship after the ride. Mark your calendars!

One last reminder: Jerry Mistretta, who owned Jerry's Cajun Cafe for years. Recently had to close the restaurant due to many financial issues. However, he asked me to tell everyone he will be doing quite a bit of catering business in the future starting with this weekend at the Seafood Festival! So, if you like cajun and you like seafood, head on down there and support Jerry...and enjoy the finest eatin' around!!!

Can't wait to...

See you out on the road,
Bob
