Oh yeah baby, tonight is TERAD night! Every cyclist's favorite night of the week...or Wednesday. Depends if you like hills or not?! Regardless, we are very fortunate to live in an area with a strong cycling community that has several organized rides each week, throughout the year! Think of it, you could ride in an organized group, (some less than others) 7 times each week! That's fantastic! I once lived in an part of the country where we were lucky to have one ride a week...and that was in the summer months only! Forget the winter, you wouldn't see another cyclist for 7 to 8 months! Not here, we have a fantastic year round cycling climate and many great places to ride with other riders. Places like, the Beach Road, Blackwater, Lillian Loop, The Hammock, Perdido Key, Around the Bay, Fort Pickens, UDub/Scenic Hills, Around the Sound and Innerarity Point to name a few. Just take your pick:
Sunday- 8am West Florida Wheelmen at Bagel Heads; 2:30pm Firestone and Summit
Tuesday- 5:30pm Maygarden and Summit for the TERAD
Wednesday- 5pm WFW Hammerfest at WSRE
Thursday- 6pm Ellyson Park for Crit Loop
Saturday- 7am Maygarden and Summit; 7:30am Blackwater in Milton
And that doesn't even include special days like holidays! Speaking of, we have a ride this Monday, (Memorial Day) as well, making this an 8 ride week! Dude...
Well, it doesn't matter which one(s) you choose, just get out and ride!!! Check out the Rides Calendar at the bottom of this Blogification if you need any more information. And I'll...
See you out on the road,
Bob
